We have had fun reminding ourselves not to hibernate this winter, and it’s paying off. We’ve had a very profitable first two months of the year already. We’re very thankful for all the support, especially from our local customers.
If you’re not local, you may not see a certain product of ours very often, since we don’t currently ship these – Reformed Chocolates. So what’s the story with these? Glad you asked! Last summer, the local market where Jonathan works, received some shipments of misshaped chocolates. Unfortunately, the market couldn’t sell them according to their standards, but fortunately, for us, they gave them to the workers and local food bank. We enjoyed a few as is, but soon came up with the idea of melting them and forming them into a new shape…and so Reformed Chocolates was born. At first, they were samples at our show booths, but very quickly, customers asked if we sold them. By the end of the year we had sold or given away close to 100 boxes of chocolates! It has been so fun and encouraging to hear how people have loved them, and some are even coming back for more. If there’s enough interest in getting these shipped, we may just look into finding a solution. (Send us a message to let us know if you’d be interested.)
We don’t have any shows on the horizon just yet. Visit our website if you’re in need of a product; and if you’re local, we always have our table set up ready for a browse.
What’s New
- We’re not shouting it out to the world, but, we’re so excited, that we have to share it with you! We have a friend who has a booth in a local mercantile shop. The past few months, she’s been buying wholesale from us and selling our products. It’s going fairly well and we’re excited that our products have another place for exposure. Because of the time and abundance at which we would have to produce, we’re not actively seeking any further wholesale accounts at the moment. Yet, as always, we’re ready for whatever the Lord deems right for our business.
- No new products have released this month, but there’s a few in the works…stay tuned.
