Description
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
In book three of the Understandable Theology Series, we are delving into the wonderful topic of God’s love for His people.
Out of all of God’s attributes, His love seems to be the one that gets misunderstood or bent out of shape the most. Some claim that God is love and, therefore, He cannot possibly judge anyone. Others fly to the opposite extreme and seek to do away with God’s love altogether, claiming that He doesn’t love anyone, not even believers. Still others claim that God does love people, but His love has to be bought or earned.
Are any of these statements about God’s love true? What does the Bible say about His love? In this short book, Shaun M. Hewlett seeks to address these statements head-on and show what the Bible says about God’s love.
